Usage

Application
Identify the full extent and cause of leaks to prevent future issues. Cut the leaking point in a “V” shape and clean thoroughly with water to remove chippings and loose par- ticles. Mix PROXON INSTANT PLUG with clean water to achieve a pasty consistency, pre- paring only small quantities due to its rapid setting. Apply the mixture into the V-cut, working from the outside toward the center to block leaks. Hold firmly by hand for 2–3 minutes until set. Trim excess material flush with the surface and keep damp. Harden- ing time is 180–240 seconds at +25°C.
NOTE: Ensure the surface is clean, rough- ened & free of debris. Mix only what can be applied within 2 minutes; avoid overmixing. Press material firmly until it sets. Use cold water in hot conditions and warm water incold conditions to regulate setting. Wear gloves, as rapid setting generates heat.
Cleaning: Tools and equipment should be washed with water immediately after use.
