- Suitable for screeds, mortars
Application
PROXON CRETE A can be used neat or dilut- ed with water depending on application needs. Surface preparation directly affects the repair durability. Saw cut perimeter edges to 15mm to prevent feathering. Remove loose or contaminated concrete and expose corroded steel with 20mm clearance. Saturate the substrate with water for at least 1 hour before application. Remove standing water. Apply Proxon CRETE A using a stippling brush action ensuring complete coverage. Apply repair mortar while the primer is still tacky.
PROXON CRETE A can also be sprayed as a curing aid. As a bonding agent for screeds, renders, or plaster, ensure the substrate is clean, stable, and free from oil or loose ma- terials. Use PROXON CRETE A as a primer (1:2
with water) followed by a bonding coat (1:1 with water). Apply screeds or plaster while tacky.
As an admixture, PROXON CRETE A enhanc- es strength and adhesion at 3L per 50kg cement. It can also serve as a bonding primer over bitumen before waterproofing.
