PROXON CRETE A

PROXON CRETE A
PROXON CRETE A is a ready-to-use acrylic bonding agent and primer that enhances cement mortars’ adhesion, waterproofing, and durability for inter- nal and external applications.

What

PROXON CRETE A is a ready-to-use, modified acrylic bonding agent and primer that enhances adhesion, waterproofing, and durability of cement mortars. Suitable for internal and external use in modified plastering and thin floor toppings.

Why?

Usage

Used as primer for concrete repair, wa- ter-resistant toppings, bonding brick slips, stones, and wall capping. Acts as sealer for porous surfaces, over bitumen coatings, and enhances cement mixes by reducing shrinkage in difficult curing areas.

How to use?

Application

PROXON CRETE A can be used neat or dilut- ed with water depending on application needs. Surface preparation directly affects the repair durability. Saw cut perimeter edges to 15mm to prevent feathering. Remove loose or contaminated concrete and expose corroded steel with 20mm clearance. Saturate the substrate with water for at least 1 hour before application. Remove standing water. Apply Proxon CRETE A using a stippling brush action ensuring complete coverage. Apply repair mortar while the primer is still tacky.

PROXON CRETE A can also be sprayed as a curing aid. As a bonding agent for screeds, renders, or plaster, ensure the substrate is clean, stable, and free from oil or loose ma- terials. Use PROXON CRETE A as a primer (1:2

with water) followed by a bonding coat (1:1 with water). Apply screeds or plaster while tacky.

As an admixture, PROXON CRETE A enhanc- es strength and adhesion at 3L per 50kg cement. It can also serve as a bonding primer over bitumen before waterproofing.

Coverage

As a surface bonding agent, Proxon CRETE A covers 6-7 Sq.m/L depending on sub- strate. As a curing agent, it covers 10-12 Sq.m/L. For slurry coat, consumption is 1L/Sq.m. Coverage varies for cement-mod- ified slurry.

Packing

Available in 5kg, 20kg & 200kg drums.
