Usage
How to use?
- Clean, damp, dust-free surface.
- Mixing: Add water to powder.
- Mortar: Mix PROXON CW, cement, sand.
- Application: Apply two coats.
- Curing: Keep damp 5-7 days.
- Protection: Avoid sun, frost, wind
Application
Surface Preparation:
Ensure the surface is clean, free of dust, oil, grease, paint, or curing compounds. It must have an open capillary system and be pre-wetted without standing water. High-pressure water jetting is recom- mended. Fill static cracks with PROXON CW modified mortar before application.
Mixing:
Add 1 part water to 2-2.5 parts PROXON CW powder. For mortar, mix PROXON CW, cement, and sand in a 1:1:4 ratio, adding water for consistency. Use within 20 minutes.
Application:
Apply PROXON CW in two coats at right angles using a brush, broom, or spray. The second coat should be applied within 3-4 hours. Do not add water to thickened slur- ry—stir instead.
Coverage:
Surface coat – 1kg/m² per coat (minimum two coats). Dry shake – 2-3kg/m². Render coat – 3kg/m² at 4.5mm thick. Concrete admixture – 0.04% by cement weight (below ground).
Curing:
Keep damp for 5-7 days using mist spray- ing or polythene sheets. Protect from sun, frost, and wind. Tanks can be filled after 72 hours.
Precautions:
Do not apply below 5°C.
