PROXON CW ADMIX is a crystalline waterproofing admixture that permanently seals concrete by forming insoluble crystals, preventing water ingress and deterioration. Suitable for above- and below-grade applications.
What
PROXON CW ADMIX is a crystalline water- proofing admixture that forms non-soluble crystals in concrete, sealing pores & capil- laries to prevent water ingress. It provides permanent waterproofing & protection against environmental deterioration in both above- & below-grade applications.
Where?
- Permanent waterproofing solution
- Long-lasting active ingredients
- Withstands both pressures
- Non-toxic, potable safe
- Prevents corrosion & weathering
- Compatible with admixtures
Usage
Water Retaining & Resisting Structures: Water tanks, sewage plants, swimming pools, reservoirs, canals, harbours, dams, basements, tunnels, underground car parks, retaining walls, bridge decks, sea defense walls, jetties, and parking structures.
How to use?
- Mix powder slurry
- Ensure even distribution
- Thoroughly mix aggregates
- Avoid dry clumping
- Maintain temperature above 4°C
- Trial mixes recommended
Application
Surface Preparation:
For a centrally operated ready-mix plant, mix 18kg PROXON CW ADMIX with 22L water to form a slurry. Add to the ready-mix truck containing aggregate, cement, and water. Mix for at least 5 minutes for even distribu- tion.
For a dry mix plant, add PROXON CW ADMIX to the truck mixer under the batch plant. Add 60-70% water with 136-227kg aggre- gate and mix for 2-4 minutes. Add remain- ing materials and mix per standard design. For a precast plant, mix PROXON CW ADMIX with aggregate and sand for 2-3 minutes before adding cement and water. Follow standard concrete mixing practices.
Important Notes:
Do not add dry powder directly to wet con- crete.
Concrete temperature must be above 4°C. Possible set retardation varies with mix design and dosage.
