About
Surface Preparation & Application Ensure all substrates are dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles. Rust on metal surfaces must be removed via wire brushing or grit blasting. Old water storage structures should be cleaned with a wire brush & any fungal growth or loose plaster must be chipped out and repaired with latex-modified plaster. High-pressure water jetting is recommended for dirt and fungus removal. Surface cracks should be widened (4mm) & filled with PROXON MUL- TIFILL GP. Bitumen-based membranes must be fully removed.
Priming
Apply a primer coat using PROXON COAT PLUS diluted with 20% clean water. For aged or treated surfaces, use PROXON CREAT A slurry to enhance adhesion.
Application
Let the primer dry for 3-4 hours before applying PROXON COAT PLUS. Apply three undiluted coats (0.5 kg/sqm per coat) with a 4-hour gap between coats, ensuring per- pendicular layering for full coverage. Clean tools with water after use.
