- Saturated surface dry
- Abrade glass surface
- Mix parts thoroughly
- Apply immediately after
Application
Surface Preparation:
Ensure concrete surfaces are clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, cement laitance, paint, bitumen, or loose particles. Surface must be in saturated surface dry (SSD) condition. Glass surfaces should be abrad- ed to provide mechanical keying. Chip off degraded or weak concrete to reach a sound substrate. Newly poured concrete must be adequately cured to minimize shrinkage and moisture movement.
Mixing:
Add Part B hardener into Part A resin and mix thoroughly for about 3 minutes until uniform in color and texture. Do not dilute or thin PROXON EP BOND. Always mix full units. Scrape the sides & base of the con- tainer during mixing to ensure consistency.
Application:
Apply PROXON EP BOND evenly using a short-haired brush or trowel. Immediately place concrete, screed, or repair mortar onto the wet bonding layer to ensure good adhesion & prevent surface contamination.
Cleaning:
Clean tools with solvent immediately; remove hardened material mechanically.
