What

PROXON HEAT GUARD is a high-perfor- mance, liquid-applied waterproof coating that reflects heat, reduces interior tem- peratures, and resists UV rays & weathering ideal for concrete, metal, and precoated roofs to improve energy efficiency.

Why?

Usage

PROXON HEAT GUARD is a heat-reflective, waterproof coating ideal for flat or sloped roofs, metal and GI sheets, sunshades, external walls, balconies & PVC water tanks to maintain cooler interior temperatures.

How to use?

Application

For Roof Slabs, Sunshades, External Walls, and Balconies
Begin by removing all dust, dirt, loose parti- cles, and efflorescence using a pressure washer or stiff brush. Repair any visible cracks using Proxon Crystalline Crack Filler. Once the surface is dry and repaired, apply a coat of Proxon 5P Primer, designed for concrete or masonry surfaces. Allow it to dry for 3–4 hours; when the surface is tacky, proceed with Proxon Heat Guard application.
For Metal Roof Panels & Galvanized Iron Sheets
Remove loose rust and clean the surface with an appropriate rust remover. Severely corroded panels should be replaced. Clear out any old silicone or sealants. For sealing joints, embed 50 GSM fabric into Proxon Heat Guard while applying the first coat to create a strong, waterproof seal.
For PVC Water Tanks
Thoroughly clean the surface to remove contaminants. Repair cracks with a PVC-compatible sealant. Apply Proxon EP11 Primer and allow it to cure overnight before applying Proxon Heat Guard.

Apply PROXON PRIMER EP11 for PVC Water tanks, let it cure overnight, before cool coat application. Apply Proxon Corrosive+ Primer for Metal sheetpanels, overnight cure.
Application
