Application
Surface Preparation:
All loose concrete, dust, grease, and con- taminants must be removed. Concrete edges should be cut vertically to at least 20mm depth. Use grit blasting or high-pressure water blasting to clean exposed surfaces. Reinforcements should be cleaned to minimum Sa 2 grade as per ISO 8501-1. Corroded rebars must be grit blasted, coated with anti-corrosion pro- tection, and replaced if their diameter is reduced by more than 20%.
Formwork & Mixing:
Use strong, braced formwork treated with release agent. Mix PROXON MICRO- CONCRETE using a forced action pan mixer or low-speed drill, with 3.75-4.25 litres of water per 25kg bag. Use chilled water if temperatures exceed 40°C.
Application & Curing:
Pre-soak substrate before pouring. Apply two coats of curing compound after removing formwork.
Protective Coating:
Apply protective anti-carbonation or silane coatings if required.
Cleaning:
Clean tools with water after use. Remove dirt and fungi with high-pressure water jetting. Treat corroded reinforcement as needed.
