PROXON POLYURETHANE 600 is a liquid-applied, moisture-cure polyurethane waterproofing membrane, forming a seamless, elastic barrier against water ingress. Conforms to ASTM C 836.

What

PROXON POLYURETHANE 600 is a liquid-ap- plied, moisture-cure polyurethane water- proofing membrane. It forms a seamless, elastic barrier, providing long-lasting pro- tection against water ingress. Conforms to ASTM C 836 specifications.

Why?

Usage

Used as a waterproofing membrane for concrete, metal, and asbestos roofs, bridg- es, basements, tunnels, and foundations. Ideal for commercial and industrial build- ings, exterior surfaces, and areas with light vehicle or pedestrian traffic.

How to use?

About

Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants affecting adhesion. Repair cracks and joints before applying PROXON POLYURE- THANE 600. The substrate must be at least 5°C above the dew point for at least six hours after application.

Application Procedure:

Apply PROXON PRIMER 600 and let it dry for an hour. Then, apply two to three coats of PROXON POLYURETHANE 600 using a brush, trowel, or roller, with a minimum recoatable time of 12 hours. The recommended total DFT is 1.0–1.5 mm.

Curing time depends on ambient condi- tions. At low temperatures, add 400g of PROXON Catalyst to PROXON PRIMER 600 (25kg).

Mix thoroughly. Use the mixed product within two hours. For durability, top the coating with cement screed for UV protec- tion. Mix thoroughly before use.

Avoid washing the substrate with water. Clean tools with a suitable solvent immedi- ately after use.

Packing

25 Kg Tin.

Coverage

Coverage of PROXON POLYURETHANE 600

is 1.3-1.4 kg/m² for 1 mm DFT and 1.9-2.0 kg/m² for 1.5 mm DFT. Actual consumption varies based on surface porosity, rein- forcement, temperature, and application method.

Shelf Life

PROXON POLYURETHANE 600  has  a 12-month shelf life from the manufacturing date if stored unopened in a cool, dry place. Proper storage ensures product quality and performance.

Safety

PROXON POLYURETHANE 600 is highly flammable. Keep away from ignition sources. Avoid skin contact; wear gloves and goggles. Wash splashes immediately. Ensure ventilation. For prolonged exposure, seek medical attention. Refer to MSDS for details.
