What

PROXON PRIME PU 100 is a single-compo- nent, modified polyurethane sealer primer for porous and non-porous substrates. It stabilizes surfaces and forms a flexible transparent film, curing through atmo- spheric moisture reaction before water- proofing or flooring applications.

Why?

Usage

PROXON PRIME PU 100 is a universal primer for polyurethane waterproofing, joint seal- ants, and various surfaces like concrete roofs, masonry, asphalt, asbestos, pow- er-floated concrete & old acrylic coatings. Suitable for absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces.

How to use?

About

Surface Preparation:

Ensure substrate is clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Concrete must be 28 days old with moisture content under 5%. Surface strength should be 15N/mm² com- pressive and 1.5N/mm² bond strength. Remove dirt, oils, and old coatings by grinding. Level undulations and smoothen with air blower. Do not wash the surface before base primer application. Fill blow holes with repair putty and treat cracks with Polyurethane or Acrylic sealants.

Mixing & Application:

Use a slow-speed stirrer for a homoge- neous mix.

Apply with a brush, roller, or spray. Recom- mended application at 0.250L/m²; two coats in critical areas.

Cleaning:

Clean tools immediately with Solvent-100.

5, 10 & 20 L Packs.

Storage

Store PROXON PRIME PU 100 in cool, dry shade. Avoid heat, sunlight, humidity. Use within 12 months for best performance.

Health & Safety

Wear gloves, goggles, long sleeves, safety shoes, and a face mask for safety. Reseal containers after use. Rinse skin or eyes with water if contact occurs. If swallowed, seek medical help immediately. Refer to the MSDS for details.
