PROXON PRIMER 600

PROXON PRIMER 600
PROXON PRIMER 600 is a cold-applied, solvent-based primer that enhances bonding between the substrate and coating before ap-plying PROXON POLYURETHANE 600.
What
PROXON PRIMER 600 is a cold-applied, low-odor, solvent-based primer used before applying PROXON POLYURETHANE 600. It is specially formulated to enhance bonding with the substrate and coating for improved adhesion and durability.
Why?
- Primer for PROXON coatings
- Suitable for waterproofing applications
- Withstands light traffic loads
- Enhances strong coating bond
- Improves adhesion durability
- Ideal for concrete surfaces
Usage
Suitable as a primer for waterproofing applications exposed to light vehicle or pedestrian traffic. Enhances strong bond- ing to the coating, ensuring durability and effective adhesion for long-lasting protec- tion.
How to use?
- Ensure surface is clean
- Remove defects and cracks
- Maintain substrate temperature properly
- Agitate container before application
- Apply thin primer coat
- Clean tools after use
About
Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants affecting adhesion. Repair defects and seal cracks before applying PROXON PRIMER 600. Maintain the substrate temperature at least 5°C above the dew point for six hours.
Application Procedure:
- Shake the PROXON PRIMER 600 container for 30 seconds before use.
- Apply a thin coat using a brush or spray, allowing 15-20 minutes to
- If required, apply a second coat based on substrate porosity.
- Within 30 minutes of primer application, apply the topcoat directly.
Limitations:
- Do not wash the substrate with
- Keep away from fire/heat; highly flam-
- Avoid prolonged exposure in enclosed
Cleaning: Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with a suitable solvent.
