Application
Ensure all substrates are clean, sound, and free from dust, oil, grease, laitance, and loose particles. Smooth surfaces should be mechanically roughened for better adhesion. Corroded steel must be fully exposed & cleaned thoroughly. Prepare 50x50mm fillets at all horizontal and vertical joints using non-shrink grout or SBR-modified concrete. Once cured and dry, apply a coat of epoxy primer and allow it to become tacky (after 4–5 hours). Mix PROXON PU COAT thoroughly using a slow-speed stirrer and apply uniformly with a roller or brush. Apply two coats, ensuring full coverage, especially along joints and up to 300mm on walls. Protect with 160 gsm geo textile and screed/plaster as required. Clean tools & equipment after use.
