What
PROXON QUICKSET PLUG is a single-com- ponent, quick-setting sealing mortar com- posed of hydraulic cement, graded sand, and special additives. Only clean water is needed on-site to create a ready-to-use, fast-acting sealing mortar.

Usage
PROXON QUICKSET PLUG is ideal for sealing active water leaks through cracks, joints, and holes in concrete or masonry. It’s used in reservoirs, tunnels, sewage systems, and for quick anchoring of bolts, pipes, and fixtures.
How to use?
- Clean, square cut
- Undercut and flush
- Mix with water
- Plug and press
- Trim and finish
- Dampen for curing
Application
Surface Preparation:
Ensure surfaces are clean, free from oil, grease, dust, and loose materials. Cut cracks or holes to a minimum of 20mm wide and deep with square sides; undercut where possible. Flush with clean water and dampen the area before application.
Application Areas:
- For active leaks: Cut to a minimum of 20mm and plug with hand-mixed PROXON QUICKSET PLUG. Hold in place for 60 sec- onds.
- Wall/floor joints: Cut and fill with mortar to form a cove.
- Cracks in masonry or concrete: Cut and press mortar into joints.
- Holes, patches, and honeycombs: Remove obstructions and fill to 25mm
- Anchoring bolts/posts: Drill hole with 10mm clearance around, fill with mortar, and insert bolt or post firmly.
Mixing:
Mix PROXON QUICKSET PLUG by hand with clean water (approx. 0.26 L per 1 kg) to a stiff consistency. Use within 1–2 minutes.
Cleaning:
Once stiffened, dampen with water and keep moist for at least 15 minutes.
Coverage
1 kg of PROXON QUICKSET PLUG fills approx. 585 cm³ or a 20x20x1450 mm joint. Cover- age: ~1.7 kg/dm³. Clean tools immediately with water; hardened material cannot be removed by water.
Packing
1kg & 5kg bags.
Shelf life
Can be stored in a cool, dry, shaded area. Shelf life is 12 months if protected from sun- light, humidity, UV exposure, and extreme temperatures.
