Usage
It de-rusts steel surfaces and forms a light phosphate coating, providing a suitable base for subsequent priming or painting, ensuring better adhesion and long-term protection against corrosion in various applications.
How to use?
- Apply PROXON RUST RC
- Wait 15 minutes
- Spray, dip, wipe
- Thin with water
- Remove heavy rust
- Clean using solvent
Application
Method of Application:
Apply PROXON RUST RC rust remover/con- verter and leave it for 15 minutes. If neces- sary, a second application can be made. It can be applied by spray, dipping, or using a cotton cloth. Rinsing with water is option- al based on requirement.
Thinning:
For light rust or deposits, PROXON RUST RC can be thinned with water in a 1:1 ratio. For severe rust, use the product undiluted.
Surface Preparation:
Scrape the surface to remove heavy rust before applying the product.
Cleaning:
Tools and application equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with a hydrocarbon solvent.

Approx: 10 to 15 Sqm/litre.

Shelf life
Can be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Shelf life is 18 months if pro- tected from heat, humidity, and UV expo- sure as recommended.
Safety Measures
PROXON RUST RC contains acid. Use gloves, goggles, and protective gear while handling. Avoid contact with skin or eyes; rinse with water if exposed. In case of ingestion, seek medical help. Refer to MSDS for details.
