- Multipurpose, economical, easy
- Low WC, higher durability
- Controls corrosion in steel
Usage
How to use?
- Clean and prepare surfaces
- Apply bonding slurry coat
- Mix cement, sand, PROXON SBR
- Use correct water ratio
- Apply mortar while tacky
- Compact, level, and finish
Application
Dosage & Functional Prescription:
Latex Polymer Modified Mortar (LPMM)
For general mortar mix, use 50kg cement, 280kg sand, and 5 liters PROXON SBR with minimum water for workability (1:1 ratio PROXON SBR to water).
For thick bed mortar, screed, or renders above 15mm thickness, increase PROXON SBR to 7.5 liters. For chemical-resistant applications like battery rooms or water treatment areas, increase to 10 liters. For thin bedding or screeds, use 1:1 cement-sand mix with 5 liters PROXON SBR per 50kg cement.
For bonding slurry, mix 1:1.5 PROXON SBR to cement, apply to tacky, and follow with mortar application. For gypsum or light
weight plaster, prime with 1:1 PROXON SBR to cement. For heavy rendering, prepare 1:2 PROXON SBR to cement slurry.
Surface preparation, Mixing & Application: Application surfaces must be clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, or loose particles. Dampen hot or absorbent surfaces before applying or prime with 1:8 (Proxon SBR: Water). For existing concrete, roughen smooth areas. Cut back damaged con- crete to sound material. Use manual mixing or rotating blade mixers, avoiding excess air. Apply bonding primer slurry coat and fresh mortar while tacky. For wa- ter-resistant renders, apply two slurry coats at right angles, minimum 1.5mm thickness.
