What
PROXON SBS is a self-adhesive aluminum membrane for waterproofing and sealing various surfaces like roofs, concrete, metal, plastic, skylights, and parapets. It is also used for repairing gutters, shingles, and fiber cement sheet roofing.

Usage
PROXON SBS is a self-adhesive waterproof- ing membrane with an elastoplastic bitumi- nous layer reinforced by an aluminum film. It offers excellent solar reflectivity, puncture resistance, flexibility & strong adhesion while accommodating structural movements.
How to use?
- Smooth, clean surface required.
- Easy, fast application without heat.
- Press firmly for strong adhesion.
- Use seam roller for contact.
- Temperature range: -25°C to 90°C.
- Promastic primer enhances adhesion.
Application
Surface Preparation:
A smooth, clean, dry, and dust-free surface is required for applying PROXON SBS tape. Remove all sharp projections before appli- cation.
Application:
PROXON SBS is fast and easy to install with- out heat or special equipment. Remove the release paper and press it into position using fingertip pressure. Use a seam roller for better adhesion.
Limitations:
Service temperature: -25°C to 90°C. Do not apply if the surface temperature is below 5°C. The tape becomes brittle in cementi- tious mixes and is not resistant to acid or alkaline exposure.
Packing, Finish & Priming:
Aluminium top finish, 10mtr roll, 1.5mm thickness.
Use PROXON PROMASTIC primer for better adhesion.
Storage
PROXON SBS membrane has a 12-month shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place at 22°C (72°F) & 50% humidity, in original unopened packaging. Shelf life may vary with temperature and humidity.
