Application
Surface preparation:
Ensure the joint is dry and clean before applying Proxon Proseal Bituminous Seal- ing Compound. Clean joints thoroughly using compressed air to remove debris and dust, ensuring proper adhesion to joint walls. Surface dust will prevent bonding and may cause the sealant to peel away.
Application:
Apply Proxon Proseal Primer evenly to the joints using a brush or spray. Allow it to dry completely. Open the Proxon Proseal Bitu- minous Sealing Compound drum and heat it to 180°C – 200°C, stirring slowly for unifor- mity. Complete melting takes 2-3 hours.
Pour the molten (190°C – 200°C) Proxon Proseal Bituminous Sealing Compound into the joint using an extended spout, allowing it to flow through evenly.
Cleaning:
Clean tools once after use. Fully cured ma- terial requires mechanical removal.
